Template Policies

Welcome to the family! We’re excited to help you level up your web presence. By snagging a BrandZap template, you’re agreeing to the following "rules of the road."

1. The License: Your One-Site Pass

When you buy a template, you’re buying a Single-Use License.

  • One Template = One Website. Want to use it for another project or a client? You’ll need to grab an additional license.

  • Keep it Exclusive: You can’t resell, redistribute, or share our files (modified or otherwise).

  • Non-Transferable: If you sell your site to a new owner, they’ll need to purchase their own license to stay "Zap-compliant."

2. Delivery & The "Hand-Off"

Your template arrives as a fresh invitation to a new Squarespace site.

  • The 48-Hour Goal: We aim to deliver within 48 hours. If it’s been longer (and it’s not a weekend or holiday), give us a shout!

  • Fresh Start: Templates aren’t added to existing sites unless you’ve purchased our Install Package.

  • Your Sandbox, Your Rules: Once the site is in your account, you’re the captain. We can’t "undo" accidental design changes, so edit with care.

  • Don't Let it Expire: Your template starts on a free trial. If the trial expires and Squarespace deletes the site, or if you don't accept the invite within 6 months, you’ll need to repurchase the template to get a fresh copy.

3. Customization & Support

We give you the engine; you do the driving.

  • DIY Spirit: You’re responsible for adding content and styling unless you’ve hired us for Customization Services.

  • We’ve Got Your Back: Your purchase includes access to our Support Hub and email assistance for template-specific questions.

4. No Take-Backs (Refund Policy)

Because digital products are delivered instantly, all sales are final.

  • Technical Glitches: If there’s a genuine technical bug preventing the template from working as promised, contact us within 14 days. We’ll do our best to fix it before discussing other resolutions.

5. Ownership & IP

You own your content, but BrandZap retains ownership of the underlying design, code, and intellectual property. No "copy-catting" or unauthorized duplication allowed.

6. The "Safety First" Disclaimer

BrandZap isn't liable for issues caused by third-party plugins, Squarespace system updates, or any "oops" moments during your editing process. We build them to be robust, but the internet is a wild place.

7. Powering Your Growth (Affiliates)

We occasionally recommend tools we love (like Termageddon). If you use our link, we might earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It’s a win-win!

8. The BrandZap Toolkit

Your purchase unlocks:

  • The Support Hub: Video tutorials and guides.

  • 7-Day Launch Blueprint: Our "express lane" to getting live.

  • Direct Support: Email us! (Note: Complex requests may require a support fee).

9. The Essentials

  • Requirements: You’ll need a Squarespace subscription. Some designs may require Canva or Photoshop (check the product description!).

  • Lifetime Access: Once the site is in your account, it’s yours. However, we don't provide updates for "retired" templates.

  • Currency: All prices are in USD.

  • Legal Note: "Squarespace" is a trademark of Squarespace, Inc. BrandZap is an independent shop and is not affiliated with Squarespace, Inc.

10. Updates

We may update these policies as BrandZap grows. The latest version will always be right here.
